Sheikh Ali al-Qaradaghi said in a video message that it is necessary that all Muslims should help to end the suffering of the people of Palestine and Gaza.
This is a religious duty and a human responsibility, he underscored, Arabi21 website reported.
In Gaza, the world is witnessing a tragedy and all-out genocide being committed by a Nazi regime that enjoys killing innocent people before the eyes of the world, he said.
There is a humanitarian catastrophe going on in the Gaza Strip, where women and children die of hunger if they are not killed in the Israeli genocide, Sheikh al-Qaradaghi deplored.
And all of this is happening with the disgraceful silence of the world community, he added.
The cleric also said those who support the Zionist regime with weapons or financially and politically are complicit in the regime’s crimes.
